Tavistock House
tavistock house
Tavitock House is a housing complex featuring 16 apartments, spanning up to the third floor. The ground floor of the complex is designated for parking facilities, while the upper three floors are reserved for residential purposes. These living spaces come in various configurations, ranging from single-bedroom units to those with multiple bedrooms and attached bathrooms. The architectural plan involved replacing some portions of the existing structure on the first and second floors while keeping the foundation intact. In an effort to create additional living space, a loft was later incorporated above the existing structure, offering extra accommodations for prospective tenants. Once the design phase was finalized, our partners in the United Kingdom took charge of the construction process, which is now in its final stages, bringing this project to near completion.

MEP planning
In addition to handling the architectural planning and building control drawings for Tavistock House, we were also tasked with the development of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings for this residential complex situated at 05 Rockingham Road in London. Our scope of work encompassed several critical aspects of the building’s infrastructure, ensuring a comprehensive and well-coordinated system. Firstly, we diligently designed ventilation drawings to facilitate proper air circulation within the structure, optimizing comfort and indoor air quality for the residents. This involved planning the placement and layout of ventilation systems on all floors.

Furthermore, we tackled the essential task of creating detailed drainage pipe systems, guaranteeing efficient wastewater management for the entire building. This meticulous design work encompasses the proper disposal of sewage and wastewater to ensure a clean and sanitary environment. The project also involved the design of domestic hot and cold water lines, which are fundamental to daily life within the complex. Our team focused on delivering a reliable water supply system that caters to the residents’ needs, be it for personal use, cooking, or cleaning.

Additionally, we addressed the heating needs of Tavistock House by developing a radiator heating system, which ensures that every corner of the building enjoys comfortable temperatures during the colder months. This design maximizes energy efficiency and heat distribution. Moreover, the electrical drawings were a crucial component of our MEP work, ensuring a safe and functional electrical system throughout the complex. Our meticulous planning covered the layout of electrical outlets, lighting fixtures, and power distribution to meet the residents’ power requirements.
Last but not least, we were responsible for designing booster pump systems for the entire system to maintain adequate water pressure for various needs, such as showers and faucets, ensuring that residents enjoy consistent and efficient water supply.
